    • Let janza name the full squad publicly nt calling players to join secretly.we want exprienced players to b back,eg Katongo must come back.

  1. or maybe he is waiting to last minute because he thinks he has quality players in abundance from local to Europe based countries like Ghana to choose from hahahaha

  2. my bra its too early to announce a team. they should announce after they play friendlies.kondwani, mukuka, kola, jacob and katongo are needed.i am glad honour jaza has reserved places for foreign based strikers by calling only three strikers.i foresee the retun of mwape, jacob and kola whom i believe his form and exprience will add value to the team. they will form a deadly combination with mayuka up front.

  3. Bafana Bafana will face Zambia in an international friendly on 4 January at Orlando Stadium – a match that will be used as a farewell match for the Senior Men’s National Team before leaving for Central African nation of Gabon en route to the 2015 CAF Orange Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
The match will kick-off at 15h00.
This will be the first match Mashaba will play in Johannesburg since taking over the reigns of Bafana Bafana. The clash will also give the fans a chance to see South Africa’s final 23-man squad as it would have been announced four days earlier (30 December 2014).
“This is an opportunity for all South Africans to come in numbers and say thank you to (Shakes) Mashaba and his boys for qualifying for AFCON 2015. The boys are set to make us proud in Equatorial Guinea.
“Over and above that, it’s a perfect opportunity for the coach to present to the nation the final squad that will fly South Africa’s flag high at the AFCON tournament,” said Dr Danny Jordaan, President of the South African Football Association (SAFA).
“This is a chance not to be missed, and we urge the fans to come in numbers to show their support to Bafana Bafana as they leave these shores to represent us at the biggest continental soccer showpiece. That is why we have even dropped our ticket prizes to make this a day to remember for all.”
Tickets for the match are already on sale and going for R50 (Fifty Rand) all round and can be purchased at Computicket outlets, Shoprite, Checkers and Shoprite/Checkers stores countrywide.

  4. Guys I am with you on this one. The tournament is around the corner and no provisional squad has been announced. Algeria has already announced their final 23. This is the time there should be thinking about who is going to get cut from the team. Also, the foreign based players are reaching critical stages in their respective campaigns so their clubs should be aware that these guys are probably not going to be available in the coming weeks. Ifyabupuba fye. We are not serious about winning this tournament. We have one friendly scheduled. Malawi didn’t qualify, we should have played them or even Zimbabwe. No training camp has been scheduled or announced. Its like there is a media blackout ku FAZ. The website that still has Herve Renard announcing his AFCON squad from 2 years ago. MALABISH all around.

  5. Less than a month away and he is still calling for “Local Players” training camp. By now this coach should have announced his preliminary squad and start working with it.

Meanwhile pros are coming in secretly and joining his camp! Janza Janza Janza! Be your own man and do the right thing. You will have time to heal the team after you chop some of the lads – Mantha.

  6. Aaaaah aaah what’s the problem guys let the man do his job in peace please your job is to criticize when the team dose not perform well provisional squad ya chani mukonda chabe vo kamba kamba let us support. The team at you bloggers calling on the return of ba chris that won’t be happening under janzas watch get over your selves and move on. Cheers its good to be back.

  7. You people keep insulting Janza and his technical bench yet under his management zambia is now ranked in the top 50 in the world. Something that could not be done by pathetic Renard on a regular basis.

  8. what is there between South African clubs and Nkana? Most of their deals go sour, e.g Kangwa’s move to Pirates in mind and now sate sate

  9. Let’s not make this team selection an issue. Janza is clearly in a selection headache but he has the players in camp so its a matter of picking the best from the best. I’m sure he has already contacted the internationals hence them trickling in uno by uno. Check MTN football and ul see that he has already spoken about Kondwani Mtonga. What is needed apa is ma friendly, South Africa can not be the only one. We should play a North African like our good friends Egypt.

  10. According to our information, the Zambian defender of FC Sochaux (L2) Stoppila Sunzu (25 years) should begin soon with the Shanghai Shenhua Greenland (Chinese D1). The club now led by Francis Gillot is also trying to attract the French Lassana Diarra .

  11. Zambian players are very dull. What is Mayuka doing at Southampton clearly they don’t like him and will never play him. Mayuka should have forced a move when wolves wanted him
The Southampton technical bench give him 10 to 15 minutes in positions that he doesn’t play. They put him on the left or right wing when he’s a striker. Mayuka is wasting his time. It annoys me to see Southampton naming amateurs like seager on the bench when he once was a top goal scorer at the afcon winning golden boot ahead of drogba. Mayuka is a very dull boy wasting his time.

  12. The football association of zambia must intervene and ask that Mayuka be released to play south Africa on janaruy 4. Further they must ask Mayuka to give a transfer request. The boy is dull and cannot see he is wasting his time. As for Sunzu if he moves to China that would be dullness of the highest order and he can kiss his career goodbye. Sometimes it’s not about quick money.

Group B: Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa, Mali, Cameroon

  15. The draws are tough for our boys. This is the time for the boys from ZAMBIA TO PROVE that they are not flukes but have arrived on the African scene. ask THE COSAFA REGION THEY WILL TELL YOU viva young guns show them.
