The Zambia Super League comes alive this afternoon with two week 27 games taking center stage.
In Ndola, Team Kopala, Buildcon welcome the Magnificent People’s team, Kabwe Warriors at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium while Prison Leopards host Indeni at President Stadium.
Buildcon vs Kabwe Warriors
Buildcon will be looking to get back to winning ways when they welcome Kabwe Warriors at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium this afternoon.
Team Kopala are coming from back to back losses and with fifth place up for grabs they have an incentive to push for a win.
Kabwe Warriors on the other hand want to continue their good form in the last three games that has seen them win one and draw two.
Buildcon have won three games in the previous nine meetings with Warriors winning two and the other four ending in draws.
Buildcon will bank on the likes of Timothy Sakala, Lubinda Mundia and Ronald Olaki for the goals this afternoon.
Former Power Dynamos and Nkana striker Jimmy Ndhlovu is expected to lead the Kabwe Warriors attack with Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba.
Cephas Mulombwa, Mathews Nkhowani and Lameck Silwaba will provide the much needed creativity.
Kabwe Warriors will be without midfield ace Prince Mumba who is on national duty with the Chipolopolo Boys.
Prison Leopards vs Indeni
The battle for survival is heating up and this afternoon two teams looking to avoid the drop will go head to head as Prison Leopards welcome Indeni.
The Collect Boys are looking for their first win in five games and are desperate to get back to winning ways.
Prison Leopards will look to 2017 U-20 AFCON winner, Conlyde Luchanga to get them the goals.
The former Lusaka Dynamos and Forest Rangers player has seven goals to his name so far this season.
Indeni ended a six match winless run over the weekend when they beat Forest Rangers 1-0 and want to make it two wins in a role.
Midfielder Clement Mulenga scored the only goal of the game on Saturday and will be key for the Oilo men again today.
He has been involved in seven of the 18 goals Indeni have scored this season so far, four goals and three assists. He is proving to be a very important player to their set up.

The three previous meetings between the two teams have always produced a winner with Indeni winning two and Prison Leopards winning one.
A win for either side will see them move away from the relegation zone.
