South African Premiership side Mamelodi Sundowns will this month hold a pre -season camp in Zambia.
The South Giants will be sending its juniors and Madala’s team who will compete in a tournament.
The Tournament expected to take place at the woodlands stadium will feature the Sundowns teams, Ministry of Lands, City of Lusaka among others.
Speaking to ZNBC Sports News in an interview, City of Lusaka Club Chairperson Justine Shawa said the tournament will kick off on the 25th May 2026 in Lusaka.
Shawa said this will promote Zambia as a sport tourism destination.
He said the more teams hold pre-season tours , Zambia will slowly start attracting more clubs.
Shawa has since called on Zambians to troop to the stadium and watch the games.
