Starting berth for Lubambo as Śląsk suffer narrow defeat at Legia.

Lubambo’s 4th placed Śląsk Wrocław came against the defending league Champions, Legia Warszawa in an away match-day 5 rescheduled encounter of the Polish PKO BP Ekstraklasa.

Lubambo continued where he left off before the international break, playing on the right-wing.

The first half was a close contest. However, the hosts created better opportunities.

Legia proved too strong with a narrow 2-1 victory. Second-half goals from Josip Juranović and Tomáš Pekhart were enough to see off Śląsk who scored a late goal via Fabian Piasecki’s 81st-minute effort.

Śląsk drops to 6th position on the league table while Legia climbs to 4th.

Next for Lubambo and team will be a home fixture on 24/10/2020 against Jagiellona Białystok. Kickoff time 17.30 (CAT)
