Kenya has lost 16-year-old midfielder Lukonde Mwale to Zambia, who has been called up to Zambia’s U17 national team for the World Cup in Qatar next month.
Developed at Ligi Ndogo and currently playing for SD Huesca’s U19 team in Spain, Mwale previously represented Kenya at the U17 AFCON qualifiers in Uganda in December 2024.
His parents are Zambian diplomats in Kenya.
