Congo DR based Chipolopolo duo of Nathan Sinkala and Kabaso Chongo have joined the Chipolopolo camp in Bissau ahead of the Gabon 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea Bissau.
The two TP Mazembe players missed the two international friendly matches in West Africa against Togo and Gambia owing to club commitments as they were involved in a league match against AS Vita on Sunday.
The arrival of the two completes the line-up of players who were called by coach George Lwandamina for the must win encounter against group leaders Guinea Bissau.
Zambia go into the game on a low having failed to win in the two friendlies played on Friday last week (Togo) and Monday (Gambia).
George Lwandamina who also missed the match against Gambia after he traveled back home to attend to family issues is back in camp with the national team.

Chi Chicken,why does he leave Given Sunguluma? He’s scoring there at Mazembe and the last African cup of nations,he’s the one who qualified us. Kamanga should look for an expertriate coach.
Please advise who he should have sacrificed to include Given. Which striker? Should he have sacrificed Mbesuma who by the way is a golden boot winner so he has goals in in his boots as well.
Should he have sacrificed Kalengo who has been for a while now our most prolific striker in National colors.
Should he have sacrificed Evans Kangwa who is also scoring goals and doing very well in a league much better than the DRC league.
Or should he have sacrificed Conclyde who is representative of the future. It is always vitally important to always include future prospects otherwise how are you going to maintain and grow the team with no youngsters in it.
Please advise who he should have sacrificed or do you think everybody should just be called?

I will sacrifice Evans Kangwa. Because of attitude, kind of not friendly boy.
C. Luchanga is a HAPPY boy. I will keep him to make jokes with Mbesuma.
I don’t know about Kalengo is a good player, never seen real fire. But the man is a gentleman. I will keep him for team spirit, same as Mbesuma. You substitute them, no problem, they will not complain.

Just to add to this- A sernior soccer analyst yesterday during aninterview even questioned why ‘Sate Sate’ was left out. I said to myself- it is really difficult to impress a human being (fans). In my view, we need to groom strikers who should rise above average- like we feel for Sunzu, like we felt for Mweene, Kalu etc. Otherwise, it appears all our strikers are right in the same position with only minor differences coupled with incosistencies. Go Chipolopolo.

Chumbu is right this coach is pathetic. Mayuka should never have been left out. He’s been playing in Egypt. He must regret because his blunt strikers are not scoring. Kalengo is being over burdened. Singuluma is another experienced striker left out for amatures like evans Kangwa and luchanga. Let luchanga prove himself at under 20 with his fellow failure patson daka. This business is meant for experienced guys like Mayuka and singuluma

Is the National Team a nursery school for training players? Only players shining and scoring at their clubs should be included. How many matches do you play at National Team to be prepared for the future? Is the future jumping on a plane, luxury hotels and sitting in the terraces? Is National Team a present product or future? If you want to be in grade 12, do you make sure to pass at grade 7 and nine or you get opportunities to attend grade 12 classes while you are in grade seven?
National team responsibility has no age provided you are a super star when you are called. The rest, the clubs do.

Zambia need experienced players against GB. CK11, Mweene, Kalaba, Sinkala, Lungu Chisamba, Sunzu , Mbesuma & Nkausu on the starting lineup to lead the younger ones. Maybe Chisamba Lungu will score and provides assists for other players an maintain GB where it belongs.

I agree with John U20 and U23 shud be used 2 groom players like luchanga & co. Let them gain experience in those teams first coz most of these snr guys proved themselves in U20 etc. We need proven goal scorers on the bench not rookies.

wow. A lot of teams have got problems. By now Chipo should have moved from player call up dusagreements to discussing expwctations. We hardly hear about any news from Blackstar Camp and in a way people never have much to say to disrupt players who get feedback through families and close associates. South Africa has got the worse team stability and their fans shoulder most of it by insulting and demoralosing their teams days before kick off. I can imagine how people are going to castigate the team if line up is realeased more than 2 hours to kick off.

Oh debating strikers again. All i will say is that players are getting a channce but if they are not scoring or making an impact they should be left out. Lwandamina has made his go to strikers mbesuma and kalengo. What is the back up line up?? Luchanga and kangwa have a chance, they could be impact players. If they don’t use it then we must call on Singuluma who is now very experienced and prolific, mayuka is regaining his form and waiting. They are ready made strikers but it is a problem of needing them to integrated into the squad – which is when will get the best out of them.
What i will say to lwandima is while you are comfortable with mbesuma and kalengo, trying kangwa and luchaga, don’t leave it to the 11th hour to include Singuluma and Mayuka like we did last time. That was a mistake. Keep them involved becayse chances are if we are to make an impact at afcon we will need them.
It is hard to see mbesuma and kalengo staying the course, it is hard to see kangwa and luchanga becoming big time. We will see.
