The 2021/22 Absa Cup final might be moved from Lusaka’s National Heroes Stadium, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Zambian Super League log leaders Red Arrows and promotion chasing Napsa Stars are scheduled to face off at the 60,000 seater on April 30, 2022 but the stadium has already been booked for a Sinach Concert on the same day.
“There were plans of having the match the following day but you need about 24 to 48 hours to prepare a match venue,” A ZamFoot Crew source at Absa Bank has said
On the background of that, Absa together with the Football Association of Zambia are pondering on hosting the final at a different venue.

“Ideally, the final could be taken to the Copperbelt at either Levy Mwanawasa or Arthur Davies Stadium but it seems like the President [Hakainde Hichilema] will be in attendance.
With President Hichilema in attendance, the ZamFoot Crew understands that it now seems like between Woodlands and Nkolama.
Chisi Mbewe’s Red Arrows are chasing a league and cup double. The airmen will go into the tie as favourites.
