Simon Mulenga scored a hat-trick as Nkana put up a show this afternoon at Nkana Stadium, whitewashing Young Green Eagles to move out of the relegation zone.
Nkana welcomed Young Green Eagles at Nkana Stadium in week 15 hoping to end a two-match losing streak and they had a dream start as Simon Mulenga found the back of the net in the fourth minute after good work from Obed Masumbuko and Emmanuel Mwiinde to set him up.
Eight minutes later Nkana made it two-nil as Mulenga again struck in an awkward angle following a brilliant pass from Fred Soutra Tshimenga. Mulenga completed his hat-trick in the 19th minute with a brilliant close-range finish to make sure Nkana went to the break leading 3-0.
Debutant Emmanuel Mwiinde after being involved in the build-up of two goals he turned finisher with a beautifully taken header to complete a 4-0 humiliation of the Kafue based outfit.
The win takes Nkana to 12th place with 17 points on the log, while Young Green Eagles remains stuck in 17th place.
