Fashion Sakala continued his brilliant form in front of goal as he scored in a third consecutive match for his Belgian team KV Oostende in a game they lost 2 – 1 to Zulte-Waregem in the Belgian top league.
Sakala put his team in from in the 14th minute when he ran on to a ball played over the top and controlled it in the air to beat the goalkeeper with that one touch and slot home in an empty net with exquisite skill.
As was the case in midweek when he scored a Oostende failed to hold on to the lead and conceded in the 38th minute before they went down with a goal scored in the 65th minute.
The 23 year old has opened the year in blistering form scoring seven goals in seven games played in January 2021 and four in his last three games.
Today’s goal takes his total season tally to 12 goals, his highest scoring tally since moving to Europe in 2016/2017 season.
He is also now third on the top scorers chart.
