Zambia National Team midfielder Clatous Chota Chama has been suspended by his club side Simba SC.
The Tanzanian giants took to social media to announce the suspension of Chama and Nassor Kapama for “acts of misconduct”.
The duo will be brought before the Disciplinary Committee and will have a chance to exculpate themselves.
“The club’s leadership has suspended two midfielders, Clautos Chama and Nassor Kapama due to misconduct.
Following these actions, the players will be sent to the disciplinary committee for further disciplinary measures. Simba has had a procedure to send the disciplinary committee to the players so that they too will be given a chance to be heard before further action is taken against them.
The management would like to remind its employees to adhere to the principles of ethics and discipline as the club will not hesitate to take action against anyone who is proven to go against the procedure.”
The club did not go into specifics on what exactly he has done however African Football Journalist Micky Jnr reports that he has been going to training late and has been at times shown disrespect to the technical bench.
Chama has been an important part of the Simba SC setup since joining the club from Lusaka Dynamos.
