Red Arrows sealed their place in the 2024 ABSA Cup following an impressive 3-1 comeback win over Mutondo Stars.
The Airmen came into the game looking to return to winning ways after their 2-1 loss to Green Eagles last weekend.
Needing Just a win to seal their place in the only Cup Competition in the country, Chisi Mbeweās team however suffered an early blow as they went down after 12 minutes, Chisha Kampamba with the goal.
Arrows started dominating the play after going down but had to wait until the 38th minute for the equaliser as Saddam Yusuf Phiri scored with a close range finish at the near post after James Chamanga put him through on goal.
Saddam then turned provider four minutes later as he set up fit again Ricky Banda for the goal that put the Airmen in the lead, 2-1.
Second half substitute Anthony Shipanuka sealed the win with his debut goal in the 80th minute.
The win takes the Airmen to 29 goals and second on the table sealing a place in the ABSA Cup joining ZESCO United and National Division One log leaders, Nchanga Rangers.
