Napsa Stars midfielder Danny Silavwe says the current season is his best in the MTN/FAZ Super League.
The former Nkana midfielder is also confident that he will bounce back to the national team set up after missing in the recent training camps called by coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojeviç due to injury.
“This is my best season so far in the Super League. In the past, I had a number of injuries and I was not as consistent as I am here at Napsa Stars,” Silanvwe said.
“If you can recall when Sven (Vandenbroeck) came I was part of the national team and am sure I will bounce back. When Micho came I was nursing an injury but I am confident I will receive a call up soon.”
Silanvwe has been one of the outstanding performers this season in the league helping Napsa Stars to second place currently on the log.
Sikavwe has scored two goals so far and has been involved in the build for a number of goals the Pensioners who are chasing a top-four finish have scored so far this season.
