Zambia National team midfielder Collins Sikombe says he is not disappointed after the Copper Bullets were held to a 3 all draw by Niger in the ongoing Pre CHAN tournament in Cameroon.
The Lusaka Dynamos midfielder who netted a brace in the six-goal nail-biter said it was just a preparatory game for the CHAN tournament.
“This is just a preparation game, the coach told us that we are preparing for the games which are coming ahead, we just have to focus on our next game,” Sikombe said.
“There is no disappointment because this is a preparation for the games ahead, we shall just motivate each other to work hard for the next game.”
Collins Sikombe and Ibrahim Essa scored a brace each for their respective teams while Moses Phiri and Moussa Issa chipped in with a goal each as Zambia and Niger played to a delightful 3-3 draw.
Zambia will face Uganda on Monday before concluding its tournament with a crunch tie against Cameroon on Thursday. At the Chan, Zambia is grouped with Tanzania, Namibia, and Guinea and will be based in Limbe.
Maybe you are not bothered but we the tax payers who fund your national team are. This just shows the enptitude of the technical bench that does not know that at a lead of 3 : 1 you close shop by ensuring no defender or midfielder crosses the centre line. Obviously this is not known by our useless technical bench hence the draw!
Sikombe you seem to be not serious with what you are doing.
Honestly can you come out like that, if you fail to perform in friendly games how sure are you ,if you will perform when the real tournament comes.
