Chipolopolo Assistant Coach Moses Sichone has hailed the team for the effort exhibited in the Mali outing .
Sichone says it was a good experience seeing how the players performed in the first game despite losing one nil and in last night’s encounter that was canceled due to rains.
He has since urged his side to work hard at they return to club football adding that the
players should strive to get enough game time .
Giving his summary of the International friendly outing in Mali , He further wished quick recovery to some of the players who couldn’t be part of the team.
And striker Fashion Sakala said the outing in Mali was important for team building.
He said the two games against Mali accessed the team’s ability to qualify for the AFCON tournament .
Sakala said despite not playing the second game as expected the players accounted well for themselves .
The Scottish based player further said the country has one of the best teams in Africa and that they will qualify to the next AFCON edition .
He has since promised Zambians that the Chipolopolo will get back to winning ways .
And defender Miguel Chaiwa said he was happy to be called to the national team .
The Swiss, young boys defender, said he is on learning trajectory and looking to improve during his stint in Europe .
