  1. Kalengo is a goal addict. Well done nkana fc . Next season will be great Zambian league is great the stadia are alwayz packed and thats a sign we are have developed.thumbs up faz.

  2. Zanaco is useless at continental level they loose to teams from Botswana and Swaziland failing to go past first or second round. Congcrats to Winstone Kalengo

  3. @Sade late blossoms jst like Diego milito Uefa champions league 2010 winner with inter. Kalengo is a great scorer hp he won’t fade lyk tht sate sate chap.

  4. Kalengo was there. Six or so years back I posted on your site , asking how old was Kalengo ( He was then at Zanaco) and Mtonga. No one paid attention to what I was suggesting. The same thing happened to the TP Mazembe player by the name Sinkala. I sung praises about him while he was pretty young and wondered why he was not called for national duty…….I guess if it was not for Katumbi he could.not be the same. My verdict is: Zambia based scouts do not have a sharp eye for talent identification. If they have then their problem is nurturing talent and or both.

  5. Many people are praising kalengo today but when he called for the match against Nambia, they blogers on this site cried foul that what kind of development calling old players. We should analyse things or situations well before critizing.I remember what I said, its better to get an older player but he is able to score.

  6. Congrats Zesco.th Home league is nw competitive, wit top 5 teams almost close. As fo nkana nd wanderers, they ll b teams to watch out for nxt season, together wit Buffaloes nd th newly promoted Radiants.Kabwe Warriors MAY b one of thm too.Hop th continental representatives could go as far as Nkana had gone.

  7. Ohh my poor team collecting one point per game till season ends. We need to go back to the drawing board, buy more players if we want to survive next season.

  8. Wow what happened to Nchanga rangers, have they lost their clout in the Zambian league?

So we have a striker on the 20 goals a season mark, well almost 20 goals. That is a good sign. Lets hope the trend can continue and we see more strikers chasing or surpassing the 20 goal per season mark.

Now that we know whose getting the chop from the premier league, Zamfoot an update on whose getting the chop in division one but most importantly whose climbing the ladder into the premiership next season.

  9. Lets support Pirates to get us the Confed cup here in the southern region. Its about time people recognised that Southern Africa still has a lot of footballing clout.

The region should send at least one team to Russia and also to the Olympics so that people take notice. I hope Zambia can do justice in both instances. At least Banyana have qualified to the Olympics, at least some representation from the region.

  10. I really like this young man Winston Kalengo’s scoring abilities. I compare him with our old man Stone Nyirenda. I watched Nyirenda at Nchanga Rangers and National Team. He used to score in every game just like Kalengo. He left score chart with 31 goals when he went for his professional football in Belgium. But no one reached that far despite leaving in the middle of games. Well done Kalengo, please bang more goals for ZESCO and Zambia National Team.
