Senegal coach Aliou Cisse has named a strong squad for next month’s friendly match against Zambia in Dakar.
While Chipolopolo Boys coach Milutin’ Micho’ Sredojevic has decided to give Patson Daka, Fashion Sakala and Enock Mwepu a rest, the Teranga Lions will be at full strength.
The Teranga Lions will be led by England based trio Sadio Mane [Liverpool], Edouardo Mendy [Chelsea] and Crystal Palace’s Cheikhou Kouyate.
Napoli centre back and Senegal captain Kalidou Koulibaly and Idrissa Gana Gueye from PSG are also in the squad.
There also places for Ismail Sarr from Watford as well as Monaco’s Krepin Diatta.
Doesn’t sound good on Chipolopolo
Chipolopolo does not need to fear those big names. Its all about keeping shape at the back and tracking the run of the man without the ball. Nothing special about Senegal here!
The coach went to Europe to look for talent only Tazana was found…flop FAZ and its technical team…forget about world cup qualifiers u can’t go anywhere with this bunch of players

I don’t see the purpose of sending these half baked local players against full strength Senegalese team, we will embarrass ourselves. Remember that These warm up games are reciprocal, to gauge our strength and them too gauge theirs. Now if you send a weak team they will beat you 10 -0 and next time they will refuse to give you a warm up game because there is benefit for them, Come on THINK?

how are we going to win or improve like this when other players are being left out instead of playing together together with their colleagues so that they know each other better on the pitch and build that bond… this is why fail to qualify or win simple games because they want to call the outside players on the final games which is not the way😏
