Friday Samu has walked straight into the Maritzburg United starting line up for his debut as the team of choice face off with Supersport United in a Nedbank Cup clash.
The lanky forward penned a two year deal with the team of choice last month to complete his switch from Zambia Super League side, Green Buffaloes.
Prior to his switch, Samu was ruthless in front of goals for Green Buffaloes netting 14 goals in 18 matches in the on going 2021/2022 MTN Super League season.
Samu will hope to hit the ground running for Ernst Middendorp’s team of choice.
Meanwhile Gamphani Lungu will lead the attack for Matsatsantsa on the opposite end.
Lungu who has been enjoying some good form this season and has managed five goals in 15 games in all competitions and will hope to add to that tally.
Kick-off for the match is set at 18:00 CAT and is live on Supersport PSL channel.
