New signings Lionel Bong, Salulani Phiri and Cephas Mulombwa could make their Power Dynamos debut during Simba Day.
The trio are part of the MTN Super League Champions squad that has travelled to Tanzania for the club friendly match.
Defender Kondwani Chiboni who returned to the club after a stint with Nkana is also part of the team in Dar es Salaam.
Striker Andy Boyeli who was the top goalscorer of the 2022/2023 Super League season leads the squad alongside Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale, Fredrick Mulambia, Austin Muwowo, Aaron Katebe, Faustin Bakodila and Owen Tembo.
Abayellow arrived safely in Dar es Salaam last evening ahead of the much anticipated international club friendly game.
The match is scheduled for Sunday, 6th August 2023 at the fully packed Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in commemoration of Simba Day.
Coincidently should the Kitwe giants navigate past African Stars over two-legged in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League then they will date Simba SC in the next round.
First preliminary round first leg fixtures will be played on August 18-19, 2023 with the Zambian Champions away in Windhoek.
Mwenya Chipepo’s side will then be home at Arthur Davies Stadium a week later in the return leg.
The preliminary second round first leg fixtures are scheduled for September 15-16 while the second legs will be played on September 29-20, 2023.
