A four team pre-season involving Zambian clubs has started on the Copperbelt.
Red Arrows and Zesco United picked up wins over Zanaco and Green Buffaloes respectively match day 1.
Sunday’s action will see Zesco United renew their rivalry against Zanaco while Green Eagles will go head to head with Red Arrows in the mini military derby.

Red Arrows 3-1 Zanaco (Ricky Banda (p) 52’, Chitiya Mususu 58’, Jack Ngulube (og) 85’ | Chawanangwa Kaonga 43’)
Cosafa 2023 Cup Player of the Tournament Chawanangwa Kaonga gave the bankers a first lead but his goal was cancelled out but a Ricky Banda penalty after the break.
A Chitiya Mususu strike and an own goal from new signing Jack Ngulube gave Red Arrows a 3-1 win over Wedson Nyirenda’s bankers.
Red Arrows won the inaugural tournament in Lusaka last year.
Zesco United 2-0 Green Eagles (Collins Sikombe 56′, Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba 73′)
Two second half goals from Collins Sikombe and Kevin Mubanga Kampamba propelled Zesco United to a victory over Green Eagles.
