Highly-rated Zambia forward Enock Sakala has touched down in South Africa ahead of his expected move to Chippa United.
Sakala parted ways with Egyptian Premier League side Modern Sport where injuries prevented the 22-year-old from establishing himself at the club.
Prior to his move to North Africa, Sakala was one of the most sought-after talents in Zambia due to his exploits with ZESCO United.
Sekhukhune United were among the suitors for his services before his move to Egypt but eventually signed Andy Boyeli from the same league in the off-season.
Sakala has now agreed to join the Chilli Boys as a free agent, where he will now be aiming to rebuild his career in the South African top flight.
The only Zambian players who made it in Egypt were the late Pearson Mwanza and Fred Mwila jr.
@Daniels. Kenneth ‘Bubble’ Malitoli played successfully for Esperance De Tunis. I watched him score in an African Continental tournament.
In Tunia he played.
