Chipolopolo on song striker Fashion Sakala was on target on Saturday as KV Oostende came from a goal down to beat Antwerp 2-1 in a Belgian Jupiler Pro League encounter away at the Bosuilstadion in Deurne.
Oostende made a 125 Km trip to Antwerpen in week 21 to face Royal Antwerp FC looking to get back to winning ways following a 2-1 loss in week 20 at the hands of Club Brugge.
It was the hosts who struck first through midfielder Pieter Gerkens who was set up by Buta 14 minutes into the first half, The KustBoys responded with more aggression and after missing a half chance Fashion was not going to kept out for long as he found the back of the net in the 35th minute slotting home from close range after a cut back from Andrew Hjulsager.
The goal was Fashion’s ninth of the season one more than his final tally last season and he is averaging a goal every 174 minutes which is at least 107 minutes improvement from last season where he averaged a goal every 281 minutes.
The winner however came five minutes to time as Marko Kvasina headed the well-delivered ball from veteran Icelandic defender Ari Freyr Skúlason neatly past a hopeless Beiranvand.
Oostende is currently fifth on the log with 35 points and within reach of the top four.
