English Premier League side Leicester City has appointed Ruud van Nistelrooy as their new manager.
The club confirmed the appointment of the Dutch man on Friday.
“We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Ruud van Nistelrooy as our new First Team Manager.
This comes five days after they sacked Steve Cooper.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker has signed a contract until June 2027.
His first match will be on Tuesday against West Ham.
Ruud managed Dutch top side PSV Eindhoven and guided them to Dutch Cup, Super Cup as well as a runners up finish in the eredivise.
