Zambia has moved from 94th to 84th in the world and back in the top 20 bracket on the continent on 18th.
Avram Grant’s men beat Sierra Leone 2-0 and African Champions Ivory Coast 3-0 to seal qualification to the Morocco 2025 African Cup of Nations.
Zambia’s best ever rank was 15th in the World while the lowest ever ranking was 102.
The tournament will start in December 2025.
