Russian based Zambia national team players, Evans Kangwa and Kings Kangwa featured in Arsenal Tula’ s home 1-2 loss to giants CSKA Moscow in a quarter-final encounter of the Russian Cup yesterday.
Arsenal Tula came into this game having won only ‘one of their last five‘ Russian Premier League matches as they struggle in the relegation play-off places.
However, their only win in that period came at home against visiting CSKA Moscow which made this quarter-final rematch a really interesting encounter.
More interestingly was that Arsenal Tula knocked out the reigning Russian Cup champions Zenit St. Petersburg in February, 1-2 away from home to reach the quarter-final.
Despite CSKA dominating early proceedings, it was Tula who scored first in the 33rd minute thanks to Lutsenko’s headed finish from a corner kick.
CSKA equalized 15 minutes later when Karpov finished from free kick pass by Sigurdsson for the game to go into half time 1-all.
The Second half saw the introduction of the ‘Chipolopolo Duo’.
Evans Kangwa was first to come-on in the 60th minute when he replaced Panchenko with game level at 1-all and Tula down to ten men after goal scorer, Lutsenko was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Kings Kangwa was introduced in the 70th minute as Arsenal Tula pushed for a match winner.
However it was not meant to be for Tula. Fernandes grabbed the match winner for CSKA in the 86th minute to send the visitors to the semi-finals of the Russian Cup via a 1-2 scoreline.
Next Arsenal Tula turn their attention to the league. They host Krasnodar in a lunch time kick-off on Sunday.
