Zambian forward Ricky Banda has been unveiled by Sudanese side Al Merreikh following the completion of his move from Red Arrows.
Banda has joined the club on loan until the end of the season and links up with former Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojević and compatriot Obino Chisala.
The Zambian international was yesterday welcomed by former Chipolopolo coach Micho upon arrival in the North African Country.
Banda is the second Zambian following Chisala who recently joined the Sudanese giants as a free agent.
The 23 year old was previously on the books of Copperbelt based lower tier side Jumulo FC.
Jumulo first loaned Banda to Indeni before he was snapped by the Airmen in August 2021. At Nkoloma Stadium, Banda won two league titles and an Absa Cup.
Al Merriekh and Al Hilal currently play in the Mauritania Premier League due to the civil war in Sudan.
