Chipolopolo Boys forward Patson Daka is set to complete a move to Germany Bundesliga side Hamburger SV according to media reports in Germany.
According to German publication BILD, Hamburg are interested in signing the striker and could add him to their pre-season training camp in Austria.
Meanwhile Sky Germany claim that Daka will put pen to paper on a one-year deal with an option for a further 12 months after reaching an agreement.
The two parties are said to have a verbal agreement. A one-year contract with an option for a further year is planned.
The Zambian international is expected to undergo a medical examination in Hamburg on Tuesday.
Daka who is a free agent after leaving former EPL Champions, Leicester City is in the past attracted interest from Spanish clubs Sevilla FC and Valencia CF.
Daka joined Leicester from FC Red Bull Salzburg in 2021 for a reported ā¬30 million fee ā a record transfer involving a Zambian player at the time.
Since arriving in England, the Chipolopolo forward scored 29 goals and registered 18 assists in 166 appearances across all competitions.
He was also part of the Leicester squad that won the FA Community Shield and remains the clubās all-time leading scorer in European competitions.
Daka has made 26 goal contributions (21 goals and five assists ) in 47 appearances for Chipolopolo.
