Officiating has been in the limelight since the return of the Zambia Super League and this past weekend was no different as some questionable calls were made.
Kennedy Chimense produced about 08 yellow cards and awarded a very questionable penalty to Green Buffaloes on Sunday in an early kick-off at Sunset Stadium.
If you watch the replay you will question some of the decisions Chimense made on the day but then again he has seconds to make. decisions while the rest of us have the luxury of watching a replay.
This is a clear call for FAZ to update and reinforce the levels of officiating by our referees. We have seen and heard a lot from coaches complaining about the standard of officiating by some of our referees and it’s damaging the reputation of our league which is rated very highly on the Continent.
If we are to produce more of Jan Sikanzwes’ a lot needs to be done to improve officiating of the Zambia Super League and lower divisions.

Faz please do something
