“A corona test for the Bundesliga game against SK Rapid Wien evaluated on Friday had negative results for all FC Red Bull Salzburg players. Another test, which was only compulsory for the team players called up from this week, the result of which was communicated to the club on Sunday evening, showed a changed picture. This additional test for this group gave six positive results.”
In accordance with the prevention concept agreed with the authorities, the office of the Austrian Football League, the Austrian Football Association, and the responsible health authority were informed immediately. The affected players are currently without symptoms and have already gone into quarantine. The rest of the team is in team quarantine and is only allowed to commute between home, training, or match location.
In addition, all national teams were canceled for the time being.
With Mwepu out of the match coach Milutin Sredojevic will now have to rely on local midfielders like Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba, Collins Sikombe, and Chaniza Zulu to provide creativity for the team.

Kaili its not a major blow but its the Game of football
You feel me
So thats go ZAMBIA that’s Go
Would have loved to have Mwepu come for these games. But i have faith in the team selected. Would have been more worried if we were facing Algeria or Zimbabwe.
Though i would to like to see if any of the RBS Austrian National Team players won’t play in the games against Northern Ireland 15-11-2020 and Greece 18-11-2020.
Please someone at Zamfoot monitor this for us. This cub and National Team issue will never end.
Nathan Sinkala should be looked at by the Coaching staff. Jus saying…..
Aint surprising.
Bullshit!
We have local material which is equal to the task
Other players should grab this opportunity. It’s the name of the game.
You left triple C see now
They just don’t want to release the players.
