Zambian Super League Champions, Red Arrows have been thriving with the shirt sponsorship deal of Sportsbook, 10bet.
Since the signing of the three-year sponsorship deal, last September the Airmen have become one of the most financially sound teams in the country.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Red Arrows pockets around $200,000 (Approximately 3.2 million Kwacha) a season from the 10bet deal.
The deal is among the biggest if not the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in Zambia currently.
The Airmen will appear wearing 10bet branded jerseys for three seasons, 2022/2022, 2022/2023 and 2023/2024.
Arrows chairman Colonel Moses Kambimbi was full of excitement back in September when the deal was first announced.
“Enablers like 10bet give an opportunity for teams and players to not only excel in their sport but also offer a chance to engage with a global audience,” Colonel Kambimbi said.
“Therefore we are really looking forward to working together and as Red Arrows Football Club, we are excited for what this partnership is going to bring.”
The performance on the pitch for Chisi Mbewe’s men has also been impressive, free flowing football with a lot of goals and entertainment.
The idea for the deal is that Red Arrows will aid the betting Company in fueling the company’s ambition to expand its market footprint not only in Europe but in Zambia and the Southern African region.
The Airmen won the 2021/2022 Zambia Super League and will represent the country in the CAF Champions League.
With the team playing in CAF the 10bet will get the visibility they are targeting.
The Zambian Champions have already gotten down to work and have signed a number of players including Albert Kangwanda, Cephas Handavu, Peter Chikola, Brian Chilimina, Thomas Zulu, and Richard Daka as they prepare for the new season.
