Kangwanda brace sends Arrows clear
At Nkoloma Stadium, Albert Kangwanda delivered a match-winning performance to propel Red Arrows to a comfortable 2–0 victory over NAPSA Stars. After a patient first half, the Airmen finally broke through in the 55th minute when Kangwanda ghosted in unmarked at the back post to slot home the opener.
NAPSA struggled to respond as Arrows controlled the tempo, and deep into stoppage time Kangwanda struck again, finishing clinically in the 90+2nd minute to seal the result. The win sees Red Arrows open a four-point lead at the summit, underlining their growing authority in the title race.
ZANACO end winless run in style
At Sunset Stadium, ZANACO FC returned to winning ways with an emphatic 3–0 triumph over FC Leopards, ending a four-match winless streak. After a measured first half, Ian Sindaye broke the deadlock in the 59th minute before Eliya Mandanji doubled the advantage in the 73rd.
Substitute Saviour Phiri added the gloss three minutes later with a well-taken third, as the Bankers produced one of their most assured displays in recent weeks to reignite their campaign.
Nchanga edge Copperbelt derby
In Mufulira, Nchanga Rangers claimed bragging rights in a tense Copperbelt derby, edging Mufulira Wanderers 1–0 at Shinde Stadium. With Wanderers pressing for points at home, Joseph Musonda proved the difference in the 56th minute, striking the decisive goal to hand Nchanga a vital victory.
The result lifts Nchanga Rangers to 34 points and back into momentum after a challenging run.
Mutondo show resilience against MUZA
At Arthur Davies Stadium, Mutondo Stars showcased character to come from behind and defeat FC MUZA 2–1. MUZA made a lightning start as Given Kalusa scored just four minutes into the match, but Mutondo responded almost immediately through Boster Sioma, who levelled matters three minutes later.
The contest remained finely balanced until Wakiala Kiala struck in the 49th minute to complete the turnaround. The win moves Mutondo Stars up to 17 points and out of the relegation mire.
Konkola complete comeback against Kansanshi
At Konkola Stadium, Kansanshi Dynamos suffered late heartbreak as Konkola Blades came from behind to secure a 2–1 victory. Kansanshi had started brightly and were rewarded in the 26th minute when Kalonji Mwepu found the breakthrough to put the visitors ahead.
