Shipanuka was also named as the player of the match and walked away with Tsh 300,000 (approximately K2900).
The Airmen finished second in group B with six points behind Sudanese side Al Hilal who topped the group with 9 points after winning all their group games.
Other teams who have qualified to the semi finals are APR of Rwanda and Al Wadi of Sudan who topped group C and A respectively.

Congratulations to the team and the coach. Though the coach should up his game & prove that last season was not a fluke.
The continental stage is the right place to do that.
