Zambia bagged its 7th record COSAFA crown.
- 3 COSAFA titles were won under the Teddy Mulonga executive and Moses Sichone was part of the 1998 triumph as a Nchanga Rangers defender.
- 1 COSAFA title was won under the Kalusha Bwalya executive.
- 3 COSAFA titles have been won under the Andrew Kamanga executive and the former Germany 🇩🇪 based Sichone as coach of the 2023 Chipolopolo COSAFA squad that beat Lesotho 🇱🇸.
It is worth noting that assistant coaches Mumamba Numba, Masauso Tembo and goalkeeper trainer Davies Phiri deserve mention as both have equally now won the COSAFA senior title as players and coaches.
