The MTN Super League entered week eleven of action of action on the weekend with Prison Leopards, Zanaco, ZESCO United,Chambishi, Green Buffaloes and Kansanshi Dynamos recording wins.
Prison Leopards returned to winning ways as they FC MUZA a rare home defeat in Mazabuka.
Landu Miete and David Obashi scored a goal each as the Collect Boys put their first loss in 18 games against Forest Rangers last weekend behind them and grabbed three vital points.
The win takes them back to second place with 20 points and just two points behind log leaders, Red Arrows.
Chambishi recorded only their third win of the season as they edged Green Eagles 2-0 away in Choma.
Andy Boyeli struck either side of half time for Lewington Mujembe’s men. The defeat was the Kawale Boys first under Alex Namazaba.
The Bankers Sensational Zanaco also recorded an important win beating Perry Mutapa’s NAPSA Stars 2-1 in an early kick off at Nkoloma Stadium on Saturday.
Golden Mashata scored the only goal of the game as Green Buffaloes recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Power Dynamos away at Arthur Davies Stadium.
The match was unfortunately overshadowed by misconduct from fans in the stands where missiles were thrown on the pitch and the match stopped for well over ten minutes.
The ZamFoot Crew also understands that a major brawl also broke out between Power Dynamos fans and Green Buffaloes fans with several fans left injured.
In Solwezi, Bruce Musakanya scored the only goal of the game as Kansanshi Dynamos edged Kabwe Warriors 1-0.
In Ndola Buildcon’s winless run continued as they succumbed to a 3-2 loss at the hands of ZESCO United.
a late James Chamanga goal rescuer a point for the defending Champions, Red Arrows who played out to a 1-1 draw with Forest Rangers.
Lumwana Radiants and Nchanga Rangers played to a 1-1 draw while Nkwazi and Nkana played to a goalless draw.
