Real Betis unveil Charly Musonda Jr

Spanish side side Real Betis have unveiled Charly Musonda Jnr after beating a host of clubs for the Chelsea youth team player.

The 19 year old is highly rated and will be hoping his time in Spain on loan will help him push for a first team place next season.

“I’m very happy to be here and excited to start. I want to give my best for myself, for the team and for the fans.” he told the official Real Betis website.

The midfielder has already trained with his new teammates at Betis and should make the bench for the weekend fixture.

Charly Jr is the youngest and talented of the three brothers Lamisha and Tika.

His father is a Mufulira Wanderers and Zambia legend who played for Belgian side Anderleicht.

With the new constitution in place which allows dual citizenship now in place, reports from the Musondas camp indicate that the brothers might just feature for Zambia especially Tika and Lamisha.

  1. Time to put in a bid to get these young men to play for Zambia. Also time to pick a coach. Whether its Lwandamina or someone else, I think a decision is needed. How can you have an interim coach for 1 year and going into World Cup and AFCON qualifiers.

      • Pliz don’t insult someone u don’t know give me ur number so that u can insult me nicely tumone if u will utter a single word. Careful mwana!! I easily sort u out. I don’t insult in public..

        • charlie junior is truelly selfish, why cant he get his sons to represent the country that made him to be were he is now….i agree with you Nguni, iwe shimalama if his you brother or he pays/your family u go put some sense in him, nonsense we all have our opinions, stick to your and dont reply on thers..

      • Shi malama one ukengila kukati without knocking ukasenge nindala pa bed nabanoko so pliz give me some respect…

  2. Let us all be positive and we might just have the trio playing for us. FAZ should put time in getting these guys onto the Zambian train. then we can talk of players in Chelsea, Real Betis etc.
The young Charly man can offer lots or creativity in the middle of the park. That’s a Kalaba replacement or partner. Lamisha can compete with our wingers. He might just flourish. and Tika… He is a defense stalwart. He can also add value to our team. first team caps will also push up their credentials. Its a win win situation. Ba Kalu, please push this. If you do, we will all be smiling.

    • those boyz will never play for zambia…this has been going on for some time and charlie senior has been adamant about it….all we need is an expatriate couch, local couches have failed zambia..

  3. So the younger one @ 19 years old is the most talented, meaning the other two older brothers must be plunks. For me this is not exciting news and I don’t see them geting a call up to Zambia national team.

  4. Regardless if their father’s stance, what we need are the services of the lads.

We need to actually run an advert calling all Zambia origin players to process Zambian passports.

  5. i think 4rm da way i luk at lwandamina, is a very gud future chipolopolo coach bt as at now is lucking a total experience, now wat i mean is, luk at da way he selected players, half of da squad were defensive midfield nd if u luk at isaac nd sautu thy re not wingers so if he had taken kelvin mubanga nd jurous stumbeko we wud ve bin smiling by now nd this the reason why katongo woz not sticking to his position bcoz thre woz no one creative to feed them, therefore my opinion as a young soccer analyst i can say, lwandamina has the potential but as at now let him be the vice and bring in the new coach and let him concetrate at his club because we also want to win caf champions league nd he is the only one with gud experience to represent zambia at continental leval.so please bring in a new coach who can be moving to see the activeness of players,as for lwandamina let him be with his club and also be chipolopolo assistant coach to gain more experience

    • his a writoff bra…@his age u saying a good future coach…we need a proper coach with fresh and with modern type of football. please his should just chicken out..

  6. Get ride off corrupt Kalu and a lot of these Zambians will want to play for Zambia and not for these jealousy dictator Kalu.

  7. Yes young Charlie musonda iz good and no one can dispute that but patson daka, Benson sakala, Spencer sautu and Solomon sakala they are ahead as compared to these lads .
