Rally Bwalya pens Simba SC an emotional farewell message

Chipolopolo Boys midfielder Rally Bwalya has penned an emotional farewell message to his former side Tanzanian giants Simba SC.

Bwalya took to social media to thank the club and the fans for love and support during his time at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

This is after Bwalya played his last match for Simba SC on Sunday. Simba came from a goal down to beat Kinondoni MC 3-1 thanks to a star performance by Papa Ousmane Sakho who scored a goal and set up the other two.

“The final dance

It is with a heavy heart that I have to say goodbye to the people I hold dear. My final day as a @simbasctanzania player has been emotional and thank you for sending me off with a victory.”

Wekundu wa Msimbazi took to their official platforms to confirm the eminent departure of the former Power Dynamos captain from the club on Friday last week.

Reports indicate that Bwalya who is popularly known as Kamuchacha or Soft touch is set to join South African side Amazulu on a two-year deal.

Bwalya joined Simba SC in August 2020 from Power Dynamos on a three-year contract which he has a one-year contract remaining.

In his time at Simba SC Bwalya has helped the club to three titles including the Tanzania Mainland Premier League, Azam Sports Confederation Cup, Revolutionary Cup and community shield.

He also helped Simba reach the quarter finals of the African Champions League 2020/2021 season and African Confederation Cup in the 2021/2022 season.
