Copper Queens striker Rachel Nachula has completed a move to Israeli side, Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem.
Katamon Jerusalem took to social media to confirm the acquisition of the Zambian forward.
The move to Israel ends Nachula’s three year stay at Spanish second division side Zaragoza CFF who she joined in June, 2020.
The 37 year old moved to Spain after helping Green Buffaloes to a 9-0 win over Queens Royal Academy to claim the FAZ 2020 National Women’s League title.
On the international scene, she inspired Zambia to a maiden final of the 2019 COSAFA Women’s Cup, getting four assists and 10 goals to finish as the competition’s top scorer in South Africa.
She was also part of Bruce Mwape’s squad that upset a number of teams including Cameroon in the Africa qualifying series to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Prior to her football career, Nachula was also an international athlete, featuring in several major championships, including the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008, where she ran the 400 metres.
