Zambia Super League side Forest Rangers has confirmed the return of striker Quadri Kola barely two months after parting ways with the Ndola based outfit.
Quadri left Fole Malembe in July and joined Angolan GD Sagrada Esperanca last month but was surprisingly released before making a competitive appearance for the club.
The club took to social media to confirm the return of the Nigeria striker.
“Forest Rangers is pleased to announce the re-signing of striker Quadri Kola after the successful completion of negotiations.”
Kola left the club after the expiry of his two-year contract. However, barely two months after departing, the striker has made a return to Fole Malembe and has since signed a one year deal.
Kola initially joined Forest in January 2020 from Zesco. Kola scored 16 goals during his previous stint with 10 of those goals coming in his debut season while last season he contributed six in the Super League.
Kola, who featured for Mbabane Swallows in Eswatini before joining Zesco in 2018 was part of the history-making squad that finished second in the Super League during the 2019/2020 season which made it possible for them to campaign in the CAF Champions League for the first time in the history of the club.
He was also part of the Fole Malembe side that made their debut in the ABSA Cup in 2020.
