Prince Mumba joins Iraq side Al-Gharraff SC

Midfielder Prince Mumba has joined Iraqi side Al-Gharraff SC on a free transfer, the club has confirmed.

Mumba joins the Asian club after leaving Power Dynamos following the expiration of his contract a few days ago.

Mumba, who joined the Kitwe giants in 2024, left  Arthur Davies Stadium having played a pivotal role in one of the most successful periods in the club’s recent history.

The diminutive midfielder was instrumental as Power Dynamos secured back-to-back MTN Super League titles and earned the trust of the club’s leadership, who appointed him deputy captain.

He will be looking to establish himself in the Iraq Stars League,  the highest level of the Iraqi football league system.

Al-Gharraff SC finished runner-up in the Iraqi Premier Division League in 2024–25 season, earning promotion to the Iraq Stars League for the first time in its history and finished 14th on their maiden season in the topflight.
