Prince Mumba heads to Asia as Power confirm departure of foursome 

Power Dynamos vice captain Prince Mumba has left the club and will be heading to Asia, the club has confirmed. 

Mumba is one of the four players who have left Arthur Davies Stadium. The others are defender Aaron Katebe, midfielder Austin Muwowo and striker Musonda Kapembwa.

Muwowo, Katebe and Musonda depart from Arthur Davies Stadium following the expiration of their contracts. 

“Power Dynamos Football Club (PDFC) wishes to announce the departure of defender Aaron Katebe, midfielder Prince Mumba, and strikers Musonda Kapembwa and Austin Muwowo.

Katebe, who joined the Club in 2022, leaves following the expiry of his contract after a period of dedicated service and leadership as captain of the Club.

Kapembwa, who joined Power Dynamos in 2025, and Muwowo, who became part of the Club in 2023, will also depart following the conclusion of their respective contracts.

Vice-captain Prince Mumba, who joined the Club in 2024, leaves to pursue a new opportunity with an Asian based club.”

Power Dynamos Chief Executive Officer, Gibson Chaloba,  expressed appreciation to the departing players for their commitment and contribution during their time at the Club.

“We would like to sincerely thank Aaron, Prince, Musonda and Austin for their service to Power Dynamos. Each of them has played a critical role in the success of our, and we appreciate the commitment and effort they demonstrated while wearing the Power Dynamos badge,” Chaloba said. 

“We wish them success in their future endeavours,” he added.

The club has yet to confirm any new acquisitions but the ZamFoot Crew understands that they have already sealed Amine Hiver’s signature and are pursuing a few more additions.
