Power Dynamos have opened a seven point lead at the summit of the MTN Super League following a 5-0 thumping of relegation bound Buildcon FC.
Abayellow came into the match looking to return to winning ways following their dramatic 3-3 draw with Kabwe Warriors.
After a goalless first half, Buildcon were reduced to ten men when Timothy Banda was given marching orders by referee Milton Mweemba following a second yellow card.
Two minutes later the floodgates opened as Fredrick ‘Kante’ Mulambia scored to put Power in the lead. Boyeli then grabbed a hat-trick in 18 minutes with goals at the hour mark, 70 and 78th minutes to make it 4-0.
Boyeli has now netted 14 goals and is pole position to go all the way and grab the golden boot.
Zimbabwean forward Thomas Bright Chideu scored from the spot in the 81st minute to seal the win.
Power Dynamos now move to 50 points, seven points adrift of Green Buffaloes in second place.
In the early kick off, Gift Simanansa scored the only goal of the game as FC MUZA stunned Forest Rangers with a third straight loss.
The win takes FC MUZA to third place on the log tied with Green in second place.
