2019 champions Zesco United starts their title defense with a win over Zanaco FC after a combination of defensive and goalkeeping error which led to a goal.
Zesco United Enock Sabumukaba pounced on a loose ball and put it behind the net and that was enough to hand Zega Mambo three points.
Despite his error which led into the goal, Toaster Nsabata produced some excellent saves to to keep the scoreline 1-nil.
Green Eagles were held at home to 1-all draw at independence stadium in Choma, Kennedy Musonda opened the scoring before Kabwe Warrior debutant Sydney Phiri Equalised.
While Power Dynamos suffered a shocking defeat in the hands of new comers Kansanshi Dynamos in Solwezi. Isaac Ngoma scored the only goal to condemn Power.
