Zambia’s representatives in the CAF Confederations Cup Power Dynamos have recalled Chipolopolo defender Christopher Munthali who was on loan at local rivals Nkana FC.
Munthali who refused to return to Power but opted to stay with the then league champions Nkana who he helped to the 2013 league title and a group stage berth in 2014 CAF Confederations Cup is expected to add the much needed experience to the back-line which has struggled for consistency since the departure of Nyambe Mulenga for Zesco United midway through the 2014 season.
And Power have disputed media reports that they have signed Nkana full back Masauso Zimba and midfielder Claude Bwalya.
The club has acknowledge that they had shown interest in the duo but stated that they have not moved to sign the players.
This according to club secretary Ricky Mwafunda.
