Power Dynamos this afternoon face FC Mounana of Gabon in the CAF Confederations Cup first round second leg match in Kitwe.
The Kitwe giants have a mammoth task to overturn the 4 – 0 deficit suffered in Gabon in the first leg but they cannot be ruled out yet.
Power have had a mixed year winning two games and losing two of the four competitive games they have played this calendar year in all competitions less the Charity Shield.
The Tenant Chilumba coached side has scored five goals and shipped in an equal number in the four games played.
Chilumba however will be missing the services of Felix Sunzu, Richard Kasonde and Julious Situmbeko due to injury but has enough talent in his bag to upset the Gabonese team.
Chilumba warned an over confident Mounana coach who said Power should count themselves out that Power were ready to upset the tables.
“He doesn’t know football well. Miracles happen in football. The fact that we lost 4-0 in Gabon does not mean they are on top of us. They won that game because of luck and the dubious penalty they were awarded,” Chilumba said.
Chilumba is expected to name Joshua Titima in goal with Billy Mutale and Chris Munthali expected to partner in central defence. Derrick Mwansa and Govender Simwala will start on the right and left flank respectively.
Skipper Thomas Nyirenda is expected to play in the holding midfield position while Kennedy Mudenda and Larry Bwalya will be expected to do the damage going forward from the midfield with Alex Ngonga and Jimmy Ndlovu completing the attack.
