Power Dynamos staged a fantastic comeback on Sunday as they recorded their fourth win of the season while Alex Namazaba recorded his first win as interim head coach of Green Eagles.
In Kabwe, Abayellow came back from two goals down to beat Kabwe Warriors in a dramatic five goal thriller at the legendary Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium.
Jimmy Ndhlovu and Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba gave George Lwandamina’s side a two goal advantage in the opening 20 minutes.
Kennedy Musonda pulled one back in the 25th minute. A ridiculous challenge from Marcel Kalonda inside the box gave Power a chance to level matters after the hour mark, Musonda stepped up and made no mistake from 12 yards, 2-2.
Skipper Godfrey Ngwenya finished off a good team goal as he found the top corner with a fine finish off a Brian Mwila pass.
The win takes Power Dynamos to 3rd place with 15 points.
In Ndola, A brace from Amity Shamende and a goal from Hosea Silwimba gave Green Eagles a well deserved win.
The win is Alex Namazaba’s first as interim head coach having taken over from Aggrey Chiyangi, eleven days ago.
