Power confirm Mutapa, Masauso appointments, Duo introduced to players

Super League side Power dynamos have confirmed that Perry Mutapa and Masauso Tembo have joined the club as head coach and assistant respectively as earlier reported by the ZamFoot Crew.

The club confirmed the development in a statement availed to the ZamFoot Crew.

“Power Dynamos Football Club (“Power”) wishes to announce the appointment of Perry Mutapa as its new Head Coach. Mutapa takes over from Guston Mutobo who has since parted ways with the Club.

Mutapa joins the Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc (CEC) sponsored Kitwe side alongside Masautso Tembo as Assistant Coach. The duo will boost the technical bench presently comprised of assistant coaches Ronald Mukosha, George Chilufya, and Yusuf Lumu.”

Club Chairman, Bbenkele Haachitwe said the changes are aimed at making Power dynamos great again following their poor run of form.

“Having gone through a rough patch in the past months, these changes are intended to put the Club in good stead to stabilize the team and restore Power’s winning ways,” he said.

The duo has signed two-year deals with Abayellow and is expected to turn the Ndeke based outfit’s fortunes around. Power is currently 13th on the log with 11 points from ten games.
