Mutapa talks high demands, clubs legendary status and hard work

New Power dynamos boss coach Perry Mutapa has warned Power dynamos, players, he and his assistant Masauso Tembo are coaches who demand a lot from players.

Mutapa was speaking when he was introduced to the players on Tuesday by Power dynamos chairman Bbenkele Haachitwe.

“We are coaches who demand a lot and shout a lot but whatever we will say it’s to push you guys because in football and life you have to be pushed because in everything you do you have to try and give your best and that’s what we going to do,” he said.

Power dynamos are currently 13th on the log with 11 points from ten games played so far and Perry feels that’s not where such a legendary club is supposed to be.

“I was worried thinking I am not welcome but from the applause, you have given I think I am very welcome. We are just here to help, We have received this challenge with both hands, This is a legendary team, We grew up watching this team with players like the late Wisdom Chansa so we are in love with this team,” he said.

“The infrastructure is there and you the players are here. The most important thing is to work hard and work together. We have played together with coach George, Coach Ronald so for us it’s not a new team,”

” Where we are is not were Power dynamos is not suppose to be but with a lot of hard work I believe we can turn the table around. The way the team has started this season is not going to be easy but as we go on we will be able to stabilize this team,” he added.

Perry Mutapa and Masauso Tembo signed two-year deals with Power dynamos after the Kitwe based outfit parted ways with Head coach Gaston Mutobo.
