Police Dove Queens midfielder Luyi Muyoyi is optimistic her team will start collecting points soon because they are working very hard in training.
Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew from the team’s base in Solwezi ahead of today’s game when they play against Mufulira Wanderers in Solwezi in Match Week 5 of the 2020/21 FAZ Women’s Super League encounter, Muyoyi said there are no easy games in the league and they are always fighting to win.
“It’s a tough game against Wanderers but as a team, all we are training for is a win because we have lost 3 games in a row so all we are fighting for is to win the game,” Muyoyi said.
Muyoyi who is familiar with the style of play for Wanderers having featured for the likes of Copperbelt Giants in Indeni, Zesco, and Nkana Queens has called on his teammates to always work hard and stay focused and determined to put in their best.
“As a team, we have to work extra hard in this league because every team wants to win and gain points so no game is going to be easy, so we just have to stay focused, determined, and put in our best to record our first win.”
The Fearless Girls are still chasing for their first points in the league while The Mighty Ladies are looking for their first away win having been bad travelers of late.
Doves and Wanderers will lock horns with each other this afternoon at 15:00hrs at Solwezi Stadium.
