Daka is poised to make his third start of the season for the Foxes and could replace Leicester legend Jamie Vardy upfront.

Daka has showed flashes of his brilliance so far this season with two goals and an assist in seven appearances averaging a goal contribution in 90 minutes of action.

The former Redbull Salzburg striker came off the bench on Monday to net a brilliant flicked goal to seal a morale-boosting 4-0 triumph over Nottingham Forest.

The Foxes travel south to take on AFC Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium hoping to make it two wins in a row for the first time in 2022/23.

Danny Ward is expected to start between the sticks with Timothy Castagne, Wout Faes, James Justin and John Evans making up the back four.

Boubaker Soumaré, Belgian Youri Tielemans and Kierien Drewsburry Hall are expected to make up a midfield trio for Brendan Rogers’ men.

Daka is expected to be flanked by Harvey Barnes and in-form James Madison who has five goals to his name already this campaign.

The Foxes and the Cherries will square off at 16:00 at the Vitality Stadium.
