Patson Daka on target as Mwepu puts in a good shift

Zambian striker Patson Daka was on target as his Austrian Tipico Bundesliga side, Redbull Salzburg thrashed Polish side GORNIK ZABRZE 3-0 in a friendly match.

Salzburg planned for two games in one day and coach Jesse Marsch decided to play the youngsters and those who rarely make the first team in the first match against Austrian Bundesliga two side Blau-Weiß Linz which they won 6-0 with Adeyemi, Ashmeru and Koita all finding the back of the net.

In the second match which looked more like the starting line up Salzburg uses in Competitive football, Marsch named the Zambian duo of Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu in the team.

The Austrian giants dominated the match and were three-nil up a minute after the half-hour mark. Masaka Okugawa opened the scores in the sixth minute before Hee-Chan Hwang could double the lead 13 minutes later and Patson Daka made it 3-0 14 minutes to halftime.

3-0 was the final score after ninety minutes and Enock Mwepu put in an impressive performance.

The match was their fourth and final friendly before they return to competitive football as they travel to the Ertl Glas-Stadion face Amstetten in a quarter-final tie of the Austrian Cup.
