Patson Daka may have just found the back of the net four times in the English Premier League but the Zambian international has been on song in European games.
The Zambia national team forward is currently in Denmark with Leicester City ahead of today’s UEFA Europa Conference League tie against Randers.
The Foxes face the Danish Superliga side at Randers Stadium on Thursday evening (7:45pm kick-off) after opening up a 4-1 advantage in the first leg.
Wilfred Ndidi, Harvey Barnes, Daka and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall found the net on Filbert Way last week
Patson Daka will be looking to extend his record of scoring in UEFA European competitions having managed to score six goals in seven European games for Leicester City making the club’s all-time top goalscorer in Europe.
In November, 2019, Patson Daka became the first Zambian to score in the Champions League with his strike against KRC Genk.
According to Opta Joe Zambia became the 103rd nation to provide a goalscorer in the competition that night. He is yet to find the back of the net again in the Champions League and has 1 goal in ten games and 1 assist.
Europa League is however his most successful European Competition with seven goals and two assists in 15 appearances.
Daka will hope to add to the goal he scored on his debut in the newly formed UEFA Europa Conference League.
Daka has two goals in UEFA Champions League qualifying stage. Daka also netted two goals in the UEFA Youth League helping Salzburg U-19 to their first title in the 2016/17 season.
